We offer in person services through out South East Queensland, branching from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and everywhere in between. We are also available online all over Australia through our eDesign services. We create bespoke packages with a professional implementation guide to aid in curating and executing your newly designed space.

Hi there,
Welcome to Cowrie Designs. My name is Madeline and I’m a 23 year old freelance interior stylist who has recently just graduated from Billy Blue College of Design. At Cowrie Designs we have a desire to create unique spaces that are portrayed through the lives of our clients; story telling their experiences, memories, travels, and lifestyle through curated conscientious design. Our design intention is to illustrate our understanding of your life by creating a nostalgic and reflective styled space that evokes an emotional connection. Creating a “sanctuary” that essentially aids in sparking memories that the sojourner can relive. We use design elements to assist in elevating your space to create something that feels complete and emblematic to you. As well as, creating spaces with unique personal moments, solely centred around your life and conceptualise these moments throughout each and every space.

Concept Mood Boards
A visual design conceptualisation of style, mood, colours and textures that evoke the desired over all feeling of a space through these individual elements. We begin by communicating with you to understand your personal style and design identity
FFE Schedule
Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment. Includes all of the projects furniture selections, soft furnishing items and decor item solutions. This schedule is a way of documenting the precise details surrounding all of the furniture, fixtures and equipment for the project.
Implementation Guide
(for online clients)
A professional documented guide to aid in curating and executing your newly designed space. This documentation package will include concept and mood boards, an FFE Schedule, Furniture Vignettes and Rendered Floorplan/s outlining the locations of your furniture selections.
How it Works...

Project Commencement
After contacting us we will get in touch with you and begin the process of outlining your goals, budget and general details of the space, we will then review and gain a thorough understanding of the potential scope of your project and move onto the conceptual design phase.

Concept Development
Once we have all your information we will begin determining the focus and aesthetics of your project. Your initial concepts will be forwarded to you in a personalised document for your reviewal. During this phase there will be a lot of back and fourth communication to refine and carve the details for your final design concept.
Documentation & Final Fit-Out
For clients being serviced solely online, we will provide you with a fully resolved design documentation package. This will provide you with all the information required to seamlessly execute your new space. For in person clients this is the stage where your space will finally start to come together, as we commence the installation fit out directly into your space.
